Sitting in our conservatory one summer Sunday we could see a mass of kites on Minchinhampton Common across the valley. Intrigued we immediately jumped into the car and drove up the 'W' to watch this amazing spectacle.
This is one of an ongoing series of paintings inspired by the many different activities, occupations and pastimes enjoyed by those living and working around our well known National Trust commons in The Cotswolds - Rodborough, Selsey and Minchinhampton which I can see from the window of my studio.
